| Nine civilians, three security men injured in Hangu |

| Nine civilians and three security forces persons were injured when miscreants fired a mortar round on the gate of an Imambargah in Hangu district on Sunday. According to an ISPR press release, earlier a Muharram procession was fired upon by miscreants using small arms and mortar. The Hangu Peace Committee had allowed a small Moharram procession to pass through a specified route. A helicopter covering the procession was also fired upon by miscreants. The helicopter engaged miscreants location silencing their fire. Following these incidents the peace committee has taken over again, promising strict action against anybody violating the peace accord which includes a fine of Rs 10 million. Calm now prevails in Hangu, the press release added. |
