| #3 Isn't killing a pregnant girl an affront to Latin machismo? In any case, the offense is unlikely to engender much sympathy among the authorities. Best outcome: this @sshole gets knifed and left in a sewerage ditch at 0230. |

| #2 IIRC, he was born in Mexico, but is now a US citizen. I am not sure how that affects the case - he may still be a Mexican citizen. |

| #1 If found, Mexico won't keep him unless he's a national. That's been experience in NM with killers who run for the border. The authorities exercise their authority under Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution and expel the fugitive into the hands of the border control people. If it's one of their own, however, they'll keep. So much for 'open borders', privilege above responsibility. |
