| 2 soldiers killed in North Waziristan |

| Two soldiers were killed and three others injured late on Sunday night when unidentifed assailants fired rockets at an army checkpost in the Nawazkot area, near Razmak in North Waziristan, sources said. The troops retaliated but no causalities were reported among militants, they added. Elsewhere, militants killed one soldier and wounded five in renewed fighting near Kot Kai, South Waziristan, AFP quoted the army as saying. |
