An Israeli truck containing over 800 kg of Potassium Nitrate was caught at a checkpoint south of Kalkilya in mid-January, the IDF revealed on Thursday. Potassium Nitrate is banned by the army in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as it may be used to produce explosives. The illegal substance was confiscated in a joint operation of the army, the police and the West Bank's civil administration. |

#3 The Guardian doesn't like Israel, JosephM. They're parroting the Arab line on Israel's nukes, which keep them from lining up their armies on Israel's border to be mowed down yet again. For Israel to give up her nukes, or allow any other Middle Eastern country to have them is to commit suicide. |

#2 PAYVAND.com > GUARDIAN.UK - MIDDLE EAST:A NUCLEAR FREE MIRAGE. The ME can never hope to be free of the shadow of WMDS unless the US-West is willing to change policies on ISRAEL having WMDS = Nuke weapons. |
