3 rebels with suspected links to ISI gunned down in India |

Three insurgents with suspected links with Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) were killed in an encounter in Goalpara district in India's Northeastern state of Assam Monday. The Indian security forces have recovered Assam is home to number of insurgent groups including outlawed United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA), alleged to maintain close ties with ISI. India has also alleged that ULFA's top leadership operate from neighbouring Bangladesh. |
