| #2 I did not know of the existence of "auction-rate securities" until this article was published. Even though they have been in use for many years, they were bombs waiting to go off, and definitely not a low-risk investment for anyone except wishful thinkers. I wonder how many other economic IEDs and cunningly planned financial scams are waiting to bite back. |
