#2 US-SOKOR MILEXS is upsetting the NOKORS, whom reportedly are now threatening to void the new SIX-PARTY TALKS AND ANY RESULTANT NUKE DEAL. Besides the on-going "Islamist countersurge" in the ME + Africa, it strongly appears to follow = promote OSAMA's rant about the US GWOT EFFORTS "ECONOMICALLY BANKRUPTING" THE USA BUT DURING THE MCCAIN-HUCKABEE versus OBAMA-HILLARY CLOSE CAMPAIGNS??? |

#1 When I was in Columbia, I was told that the national government could win the war if they could use "napalm." Search and destroy and imprecise bombing can't work. Napalm allows a wider kill zone, and would be especially effective given the availability of infrared enemy detection technology. I would say the end would justify the means given that FARC wealth is compromising national politicians. In the current context of residual Carter era constraints against effective military operations - which cripples US assistance to besieged allies - Chavez is well positioned to seize Columbia, and move on to other targets. |
