Four to six men prepared to carry out suicide attacks are still present in Lahore, according to a Geo News report broadcast on Wednesday. It said that security forces were considering a number of options and security measures to foil possible attacks. Quoting unidentified sources, the channel said the Punjab Home Department had forewarned TuesdayÂ’s suicide attacks and had asked for enhanced security measures. The Home Department had told security officials that suicide bombers had entered various cities of Pakistan, and had shared intelligence regarding possible suicide attacks in Lahore and other cities of Punjab, the channel reported. |
