| Man with hand grenade arrested |

| BANNU: A man was arrested when he allegedly entered the house of a religious party leader with a hand grenade, police said on Monday. A man namely Ibratullah entered the house of Maulana Tamizuddin in Kotka Badali, Ismailkhel village, and closed the doors, police said, adding that they had cordoned off the property. They said that Ibratullah surrendered to them after having negotiations with Malik Jehanzaib Khan, a respected figure in the area, and Maulana Tameezuddin. Ibratullah was a resident of Hurmuz village in North Waziristan, police said, adding that they were probing the matter. |
