Billionaire media mogul Silvio Berlusconi is poised to win a majority in both houses of the Italian parliament and return to power for a third term as premier, television projections indicated. Berlusconi's People of Liberty party and its allies had 46.2 percent of the vote in the Senate, the upper house, to 39.1 percent for Walter Veltroni's Democratic Party and its partner, according to results from 42 percent of about 60,000 districts. A projection by RAI state television gave Berlusconi a majority in the Senate with 164 of the 315 seats at stake.
