| Hamadeh accuses Nasrallah of turning hatred for Israel on Lebanon |

| Telecommunications Minister Marwan Hamadeh responded to Hassan Nasrallah's rage filled press conference, accusing the Hezbollah chief of turning its weapons on the Lebanese people. Nasrallah claims a war was declared on Hezbollah, and vowed to continue holding Lebanon under siege until the government overturns decisions impacting the militia. Hamadeh, a prominent cabinet member and close ally of Walid Jumblatt, said Nasrallah's threats were better pointed at Israel than the Lebanese government. "We will not give up the government's decision to recover the rights of the states," he added. Hamadeh expressed his refusal of the establishment of wilayat al-faqih (the Guardianship of the Jurist) by Syria and Iran on Lebanese lands and said Nasrallah would be held responsible for any harm done to the pro-government March 14 alliance. "Nasrallah turned his arms and political hatred on the government and the majority," he said. "Hezbollah has unfortunately been transformed from a resistance to a militia in the alleys of Beirut."
