Pakistan PeopleÂ’s Party (PPP) spokesman Farhatullah Babar was moved to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) emergency department on Saturday evening following a stroke. PIMS spokesman Dr Waseem Khawaja told Daily Times that BabarÂ’s condition was stable. He said Babar had immediately been moved to the Critical Care Unit, where a five-member team of doctors was treating him. Khawaja said a brain scan had confirmed BabarÂ’s condition was not more serious. Doctors said a small clot that had formed in a minor vessel in BabarÂ’s brain had now gone.
