| Soldier wounded, 7 arrested in security operation in Mosul |

| (VOI) – An Iraqi serviceman was wounded when an explosive charge targeted his patrol, and seven wanted persons were arrested in Mosul city on Wednesday, a local police source said. "An improvised explosive device went off today near an Iraqi army patrol in Mosul's western al-Tank neighborhood, wounding a patrolman who was taken to the hospital for treatment," the source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI). Meanwhile, forces from the 8th Brigade in Mosul arrested seven wanted individuals during a raid-and-search campaign in al-Kabba area in northern Mosul, another security source said. The source did not provide further details of the identity of the arrested persons. |
