| The National Fraud Unit is examining Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's Israeli bank accounts in the investigation into the illicit funding allegations against him, Channel 1 reported on Thursday night. Also according to the television channel, Olmert's former bureau chief Shula Zaken recorded a transfer of NIS 100,000 made to former finance minister Avraham Hirchson, who, incidentally, was charged Wednesday with stealing NIS 2.5 million from the National Federation of Workers (NFW) and its subsidiary, Nili. |
