| Gunmen kill village's mayor near Kirkuk |

| (VOI)- A group of gunmen on Tuesday killed the mayor of a village in southwest of Kirkuk, the city's districts police chief said. “Unidentified gunmen opened fire at Ibrahim Hassan Ali, the mayor of Karhat Qazen village, in southwest of Kirkuk, killing him on the spot,” Brig. Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI). “They fled to unknown place after the attack,” he also said. |
