The federal government should halt military operations in Balochistan and North Waziristan in line with terms set by the coalition partners, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday. "If the government fails to implement the terms of the agreement, then JUI-F is free to take any further decision," Fazl said at a public meeting here. JUI-F joined the coalition government on a condition that military operations would not be carried out, he said. Fazl demanded the government consult the coalition partners on major policy issues regarding the country. |
