#6 "Born in East LA" was pretty good, but no Tommy in it as I recall. Other than that, "Up In Smoke" (With Stacy Keach turning into an Iguana) was about their best. |

#1 Though it was most notorious, much of their drug humor on their audio recordings was subtext, sometimes not figuring at all. Only with their movies did it come front and center. Some of their most raucous and popular skits didn't even mention drugs, like Sister Mary Elephant, Earache My Eye, Championship Wrestling, The Other Tapes, Hey Margaret, and Basketball Jones. Eek. The Other Tapes still makes me shudder. |
