| #2 Wow. I always love it when someone is even more cynical than me. And I can always count on g(r)om. But he's wrong and he'd better hope he's wrong. A good article by VDH that actually raises unstated questions about whether the US can successfully conduct less than total wars. Ultimately Bush will be seen as a great wartime leader who persevered to military victory. This election will determine whether we have the will to win the peace as well. |
