Russia Explains Its Plan Of Conquest
2008-09-04
Russia has proclaimed five strategic operating principles for how it will operate in the future. First, Russia observes international law. Second, it rejects U.S. dominance of world affairs in what it calls a unipolar world. Next, it seeks friendly relations with other nations. Fourth, it will defend Russian citizens and business interests abroad. And fifth, it claims its own sphere of influence in the world.

#7  Iran is complaining, ala INTERFAX + TOPIX, about pipelines being lain across the Caspian Sea which IMB is also related to Russ recent mini-submarine explorations in LAKE BAIKAL.

CONNECT-THE-MAP DOTS > IMB A GOOD ARGUMENT CAN BE MADE THAT RUSS IS PDENIABLY ATTEMPTING TO LIMIT ACTIVE IRANIAN INFLUENCE [Post 2010/2012 Nukular Iran] ON OIL-GAS NETWORKS TO EUROPE [read - NATO-EU], + perhaps even from the proposed OWG FREE TRADE ZONE IN NORTH PACIFIC [Chin, Japan, Arctic, ALCAN???

#6  * The World's population is over 6.0-plus Bilyuhn and even the UNO argues CHINA's popul alone already comprises approxi 1/3 of it [2.0-plus Bilyuhn], and despite Chin officially admitting to 1.3 Bilyuhn only. BOTH THE UNO + CHINA ITELF BELIEVE CHIN'S POPUL WILL INCREASE, NOT DECREASE.

E.g. TOPIX/OTHER > FEARS OF A CHINESE PLANET article, and similar on Chin demographics 2020 -2100.

* RUSSIA > still demographically dying despite fluxes. Popul is DECREASING + GETTING OLDER/ELDERLY, AND EXCLUSIVE OF THE WELL MSM-NET-REPORTED THREAT OF RUSS BECOM A MUSLIM-MAJORITY STATE BY 2050.

* VERY REAL ISLAMIST THREAT TO CHINA + NORTH ASIA, INDIA + SE ASIA, ETC [e.g. Philippines].

* Lest we fergit - NORTH KOREA, whose agricultural sector is still anticipated to completely collapse in 2009???

MOSCOW = RUSSIA itself has argued there can be NO RETURN TO THE COLD WAR > IOW, RUSSIA = FORMER USSR'S POSITION VV US-NATO DURING SAID SAME COLD WAR [1946 - 1989/1991] IS BY RUSS OWN SCOPE "UP FOR GRABS" ALA NON-RUSS WORLD POWERS WILLING AND CAPABLE OF REPLACING RUSS VV US-NATO + "GREAT GAME"???

Taken collectively, and unless something changes, METHINKS ITS MORE CORRECT TO SAY THE RUSSO-GEORGIAN CONFLICT + RUSS WEAKNESS = "NATO/EU IN ASIA" andor "RUSS JOINS NATO/EU", NOT "NATO/EU OUT OF ASIA".

IMO RUSSIA COVERTLY FEARS ITS OWN ANTI-US ALLY [future]NUCLEAR ISLAMISM, AND DOESN'T THINK CHINA, INDIA, ETC. CAN HELP SAVE RUSS FROM ISLAMIST-INDUCED NEW DESTABILIZ AND BREAKUP.

#5  To_Zheng Fei: I spoke with an informed Chinese guy today about China's territorial aspirations re Siberia. He denied. And as an aside also verified my point that in any event "not in 20 years." I asked what about longer. He said that China was not interested in expanding its present territory. With respect to Mongolia, he said that pat of Taiwan may feel so, bc Mongolia was part of China when what now Taiwanese were in power in the mainland. As you understand, such feelings by some taiwanese, and not mainland chinese make the conquest even less likely.

#4  Ukraine was granted administration over the Ukraine in 1954, although Sevastopol remained under USSR jurisdiction. In 1991, they unilaterally disassociated from the Commonwealth of Independent States. The Russian Federation has always invoked self-determination of the people of Crimea.

The government of the Ukraine was toppled 2 days ago, when the opposition rejected their ultimatum against Russia's Black Sea fleets right of return to Sevastopol.

#3  Would it surprise anyone if the Crimea was the next target in Putin's crosshairs? I've understood it was part of Russia for a long time, and the population feels closer to Russia than Ukraine, but Ukraine was granted the Crimea in 1991--although it has a mostly independent status.

#2  How soon do you suppose until the expulsions of Russian passport holders begins?

#1  So where is the part about stabilizing their declining population and making their weapons systems more than just targets for western weapons?
