Just for the women, 'ya know? And this is from San Antonio! (Home of the
Spurs just in case you didn't know that.)

The Palin frame, minus the lenses, starts at $375. Depending on the type of lenses, the total package can run to $700.

WOAI (San Antonio, TX) - Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin may describe herself as a hockey mom, but she's becoming a fashion icon.

Women are now going after the Palin look. Whether it's the hair or the clothes, she's got the hot style right now. But the biggest trend...is those glasses. Everybody wants those frames.

At Dietz McLean optical in the Quarry, (shopping center) they've answered plenty of calls, wanting to know what she's wearing.

Manager Larry Gunn says it's the same frames that many politicians wear...just more fashion forward.

"Of course Palin is a very attractive woman, and she does a lot for that frame."

considering I'm female, sounds nice and toasty to me! Since no sunspots it just may get a little colder around here.

#8  Hey, you have to admit this is just great, particularly for older women. How often do you see a woman 20 years married, with five kids, considered to be a sex symbol? Not THAT often.

Good for Sarah! She's going to be a great role model in a lot of ways.
