The deceased were identified as Biplob Ahmed alias Nayan, 22, son of late Mohammad Nizam, and Ruhul Amin Hawlader, 26, son of homeopathy physician Abdur Razzak.

RAB sources said the two deceased were the close aide of top listed extortionist Shahadat, now safely in India, and they had an active involvement in the killing of Sohag Paribahan counterman Parvez who was gunned down in Kalyanpur area on Sept 11. The gang used to collect toll from the country's transport sector as per the direction of Shahadat, according to the source.
