Blagojevich Says He'll Fight Until 'Last Breath'
2008-12-20
Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Friday that he was not guilty, that he is not stepping down as govenror, and that he will "fight until I take my last breath."
This is Chicago. That last breath might not be long in coming ...
Blagojevich addressed the media from the Thompson Center. Blagojevich did not take questions after the news conference, but one of his attorneys, Sam Adam Jr., issued a spirited defense of the governor.

#7  Glenmore, do you mean that the voters became more reliable Dems after they stopped breathing?

If so, you've a point there.

#6  That's one way to make sure he continues to be a reliable Democrat voter.

Poor choice of words in Chicago.

#3  His stand is admirable in the light that many of his former friends may harbor a secret thought about the last breath not coming soon enough, however his "I am not guilty" was a disappointment. I thought he was a honest crook.

#2  Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Friday that he was not guilty, that he is not stepping down as govenror (sic), and that he will "fight until I take my last breath."

His terms are acceptable to me.

#1  Were you asking for a last breath, or the fight?

I never know with you fool.
