India is considering moving the UNSC for extradition of Masood Azhar, chief of the banned Jaish-e-Muhammad, CNN-IBN reported on its website. Azhar was one of the individuals exchanged for passengers of a hijacked Indian Airlines flight that was taken to Kandahar in 1999. According to the channel, India is planning to approach the UNSC to get Azhar listed under its Resolution 1267, as it wants Pakistan to deport him to India.
