| #4 I was going to say that if 'militants' in Windsor were shelling Detroit, we would have tanks in Canada before you could say "square nickel". But then it occurred to me that the Detroit suburbs would most likely join in on the Canadian side, so never mind. |

| #3 Yup, westerners would put up with a whole lot less of this nonsense if it happened to them and theirs on a regular basis. I dunno. I'd like to offer the counterexample of Sderot, which has been under rocket attack for eight years or so with no attempted deployment of anything resembling the "Centurion" system we put together in Iraq in sight. Lots of studies, but no actual putting-the-hardware-out-there and turning it on. |
