A Moroccan court postponed the trial of 35 alleged members of the al-Qaeda-linked Belliraj terror network until next week upon a request from defence attorneys, MAP reported on Friday (March 20th). The appellate court of Salé also ordered that all weapons seized when the ring was dismantled in February 2008 be entered into evidence. Belgian-Moroccan Abdelkader Belliraj and suspected members of his cell are charged with plotting assassinations of senior government officials and strikes against Jewish targets.
