Mandatory N. Korea ship inspections may not be included in U.N. resolution

[Kyodo: Korea] Seven key U.N. members are in the final stage of negotiations to remove the proposed mandatory inspections of North Korean cargo ships from a U.N. Security Council resolution over North KoreaŽs recent nuclear test, U.N. diplomatic sources said Monday. China has opposed such inspections under the draft resolution.
