| Terrorist caught in Algiers after 14-year hunt |

| [Maghrebia] Algerian security services on Saturday (August 22nd) arrested a terrorist sought for more than 14 years, Tout sur l'Algerie reported. The armed 34-year-old, who was apprehended in the eastern Algiers suburb of Dar El Baïda, is allegedly a member of the El Fateh brigade of al-Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb. |

| #1 Betcha he had a cell phone. Betcha the guys whose arrests led to his had cell phones, too, with his phone number on them. Some of them might even have been in Algeria... or North Africa... or overheard in Pakistan. Modern technology is a wonderful thing, properly used. |
