Criminal killed in shootout

The dead was identified as Sanjit Kumar Biswas, 32, resident of Munshi Bazar area under Gerda union of the district.

According to a Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) statement, a joint team of Rab-8 and police raided an under construction house

Sanjit was caught in the line of fire

When contacted, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Nur-e-Alam Siddique said Sanjit was convicted in several murder cases.
