#2 Must be something of significance about that date to nutjobs: 24th September 2007 : The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaking at New York's Columbia University has clashed with the Columbia President Lee Bollinger who described him as a "cruel dictator" who denied the Holocaust. In response Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Mr Bollinger's remarks were "an insult to information and the knowledge of the audience". During the debate and questions from the audience Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was asked about executions of homosexuals in Iran, to which Mr Ahmadinejad replied: "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country." |
