The vehicle has proven vulnerable to explosive formed fragment (EFP) warheads Seems to me the underside of the Stryker is at an angle, but how about some kind of additional underside slat armor at a 45-degree angle with rough edges that would disperse the copper EFP over a wider area? Might have to be coated with ceramic or something to withstand the heat. |
