| Two killed in explosion in Mohmand Agency |

| [Dawn] At least two people including the leader of a peace committee have been killed in an explosion near Halamzai tehsil of Mohmand Agency on Thursday. According to official sources, peace committee leader Muhammad Akbar was on his way from Ghananai Tehsil after holding a jirga when he met with the incident. Militant had planted a remote-controlled explosive device, which hit his vehicle. Eight others were also injured in the attack. The injured have been shifted to Ghananai hospital and a search operation is underway in the area. |
