Brit Sniper Sets a Record: Five Dead in 28 Seconds |
2010-05-08 |
Rifles firing the Lapua round are carving a niche in the gunnery world it seems. Rewriting the lead... A British soldier killed five Taliban springing an ambush on his comrades in arms in 28 seconds from more than a mile away. |

#5 Requesting permission to shoot - needed because the British had not yet been attacked - the corporal made sure the rebel leader was in the crosshairs of his sights. If I understand well the ROE, this sharpshooter will get 2 medals. 1 for "NATO's medal for restrain" and 1 for his feat! |

#3 If there was any justice, this British soldier would never have to buy his own beer for the rest of his (hopefully very long) life. |
