| Mexico: Federal agents targeted in grenade attack |

| REYNOSA — Federal agents were targeted in a grenade attack late Wednesday night on this city's west side. Reynosa officials warned residents to avoid Hidalgo Boulevard about 11 p.m. during what appeared to be a grenade explosion at a Federal Preventive Police (PFP) facility in La Cima subdivision. No further information was immediately available Thursday, and officials with the Mexico attorney general's office did not answer calls from The Monitor. |
