Pakistan lifts Facebook ban
Ay Pee, so here is the key bit:
Pakistan lifted a ban on Facebook on Monday after officials from the social networking site apologized for a page deemed offensive to Muslims and removed its contents, a top information technology official said. Facebook assured the Pakistani government that "nothing of this sort will happen in the future," Malik said.

Bangladesh also decided to block Facebook on Sunday but said it would restore access to the site if the offensive material was removed.
anon1, please put the article URL in the Source box in the future, not linked to a subtitle within the text. Thank you. A good post, though.

#2  thanks moderator, technology is so hard for me of little brain :)

Hey Parabellum, i proudly drew a cartoon then watched as the link stopped working, then started working again, then stopped again. It now just redirects me to my own home page.

i will try again in case it is up again but FB definitely took it down at some stage

#1  I don't know why people keep saying that Facebook took the page down. They didn't.
