| [Kyodo: Korea] North Korea urged South Koreans on Tuesday not to vote for candidates of President Lee Myung Bak"s ruling Grand National Party in local elections on Wednesday. The National Reconciliation Council called for ""all the democratic and progressive forces"" in the South to advance in what is being seen as a midterm referendum on the Lee government, the council said in an appeal carried by the official Korean Central News Agency. |
