| Shahbaz assails police, security agencies |

| Over poor security arrangements at the Jinnah Hospital, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday showed his dissatisfaction and said the attack on the hospital poses a big question over the performance of police, the local administration and security agencies. According to an official statement, Sharif chaired a high-level meeting on the province's law and order situation. Sharif said he will not tolerate any negligence in the prevailing situation and added that all efforts should be made to safeguard the life and property of common man. Pakistan is going through a difficult time and we are fighting the war for our existence, he said. |
