| Troops kill 10 militants in Orakzai clashes |

| [Dawn] Security forces killed 10 suspected militants in different parts of the Orakzai tribal region. Six militants were also injured in the clashes. Troops also targeted the militants' main hideouts in upper Orakzai and destroyed at least two of them, government sources said. Security forces have killed at least 1,000 militants in the past 45 days in upper Orakzai. Security forces have also taken control of most parts of upper and lower Orakzai. |
