| We know when and where plot to kill BB made, says Malik |

| [Dawn] Interior Minister Rehman Malik has disclosed that the government has come to know where and when the conspiracy to assassinate Benazir Bhutto was hatched. Talking to media representatives here at the Parliament House on Tuesday, Rehman Malik said the government had asked the United Nations to provide evidence of several points that it mentioned in its report so that the final challan of the case could be filed. Replying to a question about a Foreign Office letter to the UN, Malik said the government had asked the UN to probe and collect evidence in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. "We have asked for evidences from the UN which were collected by its investigative team and presented in the report," he remarked. He said that the government was also investigating the case and an initial challan had already been filed while the final one would be filed soon. All those involved in Benazir's assassination would be brought to justice, Malik reiterated. |
