| Council of Europe votes against ban on burka |

| MPs from 47 countries have unanimously voted against a general ban on the wearing of the burka in public. |

| #3 So the Council won't ban them. But the national governments of Spain, France and Belgium will, and other national governments are considering it. Tells you all you need to know about the prospects of a future 'United Europe'. |

| #2 I think mass deportation of all islamists will be more up to the point than banning burka's. It seems they are refusing to face their real problem untill the day an islamic majority mobs them out of their soft couches and destroys the European culture forever. |

| #1 There doesn't need to be a ban in force to make life difficult but it is a shame. |
