Taliban Kills Five Afghan Civilians |

[Quqnoos] Taliban militants killed five civilians and one other was wounded in the southern Khost province on Friday night. Residents in the province's Sapira district said the Taliban have captured around 50 civilians from the province, some of whom have been released, but ten others are still in the Taliban custody. The spokesman for the governor of Khost, Mubariz Zadran, confirmed the incident, but said there are no confirmed reports on hand about the exact number of abducted residents. the incident happened as the Taliban militants had attacked a group of kuchis (nomads) in a region between Herat-Badghis border last week, in which according to local people, six civilians were killed and 54 others were wounded. |
