WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Three bandidos were jugged Saturday on charges of involvement in firing rockets in the direction of a U.S. military base in western al-Kut city last week, a security source in Wassit said.

"An interior ministry force jugged three men in al-Jihad neighborhood, western Kut, wanted on suspected involvement in firing four rockets on the U.S. forces' Delta base, (7 km) western Kut, in accordance with warrants issued by the Iraqi justice," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

"Initial investigations are now underway with the four jugged men prior to their referral to the prosecutor on Sunday morning," he added, not giving further details.
These three are now undergoing painful interrogation at what was formerly known as Camp Cropper ...
Unidentified gunnies had reportedly fired four Katyusha rockets in the direction of the U.S. army's military base Delta on July 20.

Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
