PESHAWAR, Pakistain (AFP) -- US missiles hit a compound in Pakistain's tribal belt Sunday, killing four hard boys in a second dronezap in as many days in the region seen as al-Qaeda headquarters. The missiles fired by a pilotless drone targeted the compound in Shaktoi area in South Wazoo, a Pakistaini security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AFP."The US drone fired two missiles into a hard boy compound in Shaktoi and we have reports that four hard boys have died," he said. "One missile landed in the compound and another hit a vehicle soon after it entered the premises," he said, adding that five other hard boys were wounded. An intelligence official and a local administration official also confirmed the dronezap.
A security official said the target appeared to be the vehicle, which had arrived from neighbouring North Wazoo. "The vehicle was destroyed and the compound was badly damaged causing the casualties," he added. "The identity of the deaders was not immediately known. It was not clear if any foreigners were there, he said, adding that there were reports that the drone fired four missiles.
