#1 1. a French company is involved in this project 2. it also going to serve the port of Jeddah 3. Current projection is for 3M passengers a day but it may be that a third to a half of them will be using the railroad during the week of the greater hajj (during the 12th month of the Islamic calendar). That would mean that on most days the usage would be about 1-3k but during the peak week, it would be 100-200k. Seems crazy. |
