8 civilians wounded in Baghdad café kaboom |

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Eight civilians were wounded in a blast from an improvised explosive device (IED) in southwestern Baghdad on Sunday, according to a security source. “An IED went off near a café in al-Risala neighborhood, southwestern Baghdad, leaving eight civilians injured,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “The explosion also caused damage to nearby stores,” he added. The source did not give further details about the blast. |
