Egypt finds nine more weapons caches in the Sinai |

Egyptian security officials said they found machine guns, ammunition, over 170 anti-aircraft shells, 90 artillery shells, 200 bullets of varying sizes and anti-tank landmines. 100 kilograms of TNT were also discovered hidden in a Rafah cemetary. In addition to the weapons caches, Egyptian security forces also discovered two tunnels in Rafah used for smuggling cars into Gaza. Last week, a warehouse was reportedly found in Nakhel, in the Sinai, with 30 artillery shells and 20 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, 80 anti-aircraft missiles were found in the side of a mountain, while 50 more such missiles and other weapons were found in Wadi Hurriya. |
