Colombian Army launches new raids against FARC |

(Xinhua) -- The Colombian Army said on Wednesday it has dealt new blows to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), including the destruction of cocaine labs and a FARC supply network. The Army said that in Tame municipality, northwest Colombia, troops seized 2,620 gallons of fuel, one guerilla and 1.2 tons of food from the FARC. The Army also destroyed a cocaine lab and captured one FARC guerilla who was guarding the lab. In Meta a FARC guerilla was detained, and in Huila department, south Colombia, FARC military equipment and food were captured. In San Agustin department the Army seized 206 cartridges, three hand grenades, one home-made grenade, 50 meters of explosive cordon, and uniforms of the Armed Forces. |
