| #1 Our NATO allies aren't spending enough to be credible security partners anymore. They never did. Since the late 70s, early 80s Europe was on par with a GDP and population of the US, but just did 'show and paper' work when it came to their own defense. Forty plus friggin years of military welfare carried on the back of the American taxpayer. All most of them can barely do is deploy small forces to show the flag while relying upon American projection capabilities to be there in the first place. |
