2010-10-06 |
In early Sept 2010, the Iranian Rial was trading at about 10,500 to one dollar. By the end of Sept 2010, the Iranian Rial had fallen to about 12,500 to one dollar. This happened as many money bazaars and almost all gold bazaars were closed. The Radio Free Europe article reports that the Rial has recovered to 10,900 as of a few days ago. The Tehran stock exchange today has a cumulative value of about 490 billion rial which would amount to about 40 Million dollars |
