| Attacks kill 10 civilians in Afghanistan |

| [Iran Press TV] At least ten civilians have been killed in two separate deadly attacks in Afghanistan, amid rising concerns over the growing number of civilian deaths in the country. The Afghan Interior Ministry said a rocket hit a vehicle carrying civilians in Yahya Khel District in the eastern Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... Province, leaving six civilians dead. A woman and two children were among the dead, a Press TV correspondent reported. While the ministry announced that the rocket attack was launched by thugs, local residents blamed US-led foreign forces for the fatal incident. In a separate incident in Qalat, the capital of Zabul Province, four non-combatants were killed and two more were injured as their vehicle hit a roadside kaboom. |
