#4 Kind of an aside. I saw the Christine O'Donnell debate last night. I suspect most people were riveted on the mine rescue in Chile.
O'Donnell had a reasonable accounting of herself. I could not help but think the CNN debate was stacked against her. It seemed as if she was debating three people who were hostile to her: Woof Blitzer, Nancy Karibjanian, and Coons (or is it Loons?). CNN was trying hard for the Katy Couric gotcha moment. Nancy Karibjanian asked if she could comment on recent SCOTUS decisions. Most people on the street could not answer this question including the CNN personnel. These debates should be handled by someone else--at least someone who is somewhat impartial. No wonder CNN is in the dumper. |
